Terms of Service

1. Platform Description

I Bet You (“the Platform”) is a skill-based gaming platform that facilitates peer-to-peer wagering between users. The Platform acts solely as an escrow and matchmaking service — it is not a party to any wager, nor does it participate in the outcome of any game. Users compete directly against one another in games of skill and chance, including but not limited to chess, poker, coin flip, dice, rock-paper-scissors, tic-tac-toe, and connect four.

2. Eligibility

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater). You further represent that you are not located in, nor a resident of, any jurisdiction where peer-to-peer skill-based wagering is prohibited by applicable law. It is your sole responsibility to ensure compliance with the laws of your jurisdiction. The Platform reserves the right to restrict access from any jurisdiction at any time.

3. Account & Wallet

You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and connected cryptocurrency wallet. The Platform does not have access to your private keys and cannot recover lost or stolen funds. You agree to immediately notify the Platform of any unauthorized access to your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Wagers & Fees

All wagers on the Platform are denominated in USDC. The Platform charges a flat fee of $0.25 USD (or equivalent) per completed wager. This fee is deducted automatically from the winner’s payout. All game results are final. Once a game has been completed and a result recorded, the outcome cannot be reversed, appealed, or modified except in cases of verified technical malfunction at the Platform’s sole discretion.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to engage in any of the following:

• Cheating, exploiting bugs, or manipulating game outcomes
• Collusion with other players to gain an unfair advantage
• Using bots, AI assistance, or automated tools during gameplay
• Operating multiple accounts
• Money laundering or any other illegal financial activity
• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behavior toward other users
• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disrupt the Platform

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination and forfeiture of funds.

6. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered in the State of Delaware, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You agree to waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration. Each party shall bear its own costs and fees associated with the arbitration.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Platform operates solely as an escrow and matchmaking service and is not a party to any wager between users. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Platform, its operators, affiliates, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of funds, loss of data, or loss of profits, whether arising from contract, tort, or otherwise. The Platform’s total liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

8. Cryptocurrency Disclaimer

Transactions on the Platform are conducted in USDC and other digital assets on the Solana blockchain. Cryptocurrency values are subject to market volatility. All blockchain transactions are irreversible — once confirmed, they cannot be undone. The Platform is not responsible for losses resulting from blockchain network congestion, failed transactions, wallet errors, or fluctuations in cryptocurrency value. You acknowledge the inherent risks of transacting in digital currencies.

9. Modification of Terms

The Platform reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

10. Termination

The Platform reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, with or without notice. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent activity, or legal requirements. Upon termination, any funds held in escrow for active wagers will be handled at the Platform’s discretion in accordance with applicable law.
